What is Cinebun?
A desktop app I built for my own videography business. Your jobs, clients, invoices and payments live on your computer, not on my servers.
How do you say Cinebun?
SIN-ee-bun. Three syllables. The ring in the mark is the C.
How much does it cost?
$200, once. You own it, and updates are free. There is no subscription.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay once, you own it, and updates are free.
Where does my data live?
On your computer. The app still works with the Wi-Fi off. I don't keep a copy, and I can't open yours.
What is the client portal?
A place where couples sign, pay, and fill in their details. It runs on your own Cloudflare account, not mine.
Do I have to use AI?
No. It's off until you turn it on, and everything else works without it. If you do turn it on, you tell it a change in plain words, like "move Ava and Noah's invoice due date to Nov 7", and it shows you the change before anything happens. It can also draft a shot list. To set it up, a step can look at your computer and suggest a model to download in one click. That runs on your computer and sends nothing out. Or you can connect your own account with an AI company, and then only what you ask goes to them. Nothing is resold.
Can I import clients and jobs I already have?
Yes, from CSV or Excel: clients, jobs, invoices, payments and more. Cinebun suggests which column goes where, you check it, and you see a preview before anything changes. If it looks wrong, you can undo the import.
What are the three Looks?
The Producer leads with a big number. The Marketer gives every figure a chart. The Editor is minimal and opens dark. The jobs stay the same.
Can I change how a number is shown?
Yes. Right-click a figure to show it as a ring, a bar, a number or a trend. The period comes from the page's switch, so every figure on the page shows the same week, month, quarter or year. Edit mode moves and resizes widgets.
What do green, yellow, and red mean?
Green means on track, yellow means the grey zone, and red means behind. They sit on real numbers such as goals, deposits, and delivery dates.
What happens when someone accepts an estimate?
Deals, estimates, and invoices stay in sync on their own. Accept an estimate and it becomes the invoice. Payments move the job forward.
Is there a download yet?
Cinebun is in private beta. Join the list and say whether you use Mac, Windows, or Linux. There is no installer yet.
What does this website store?
The waitlist keeps the email you give it, plus your name and platform, only to tell you about the launch. It also stores a hash of the network address, not the raw address, and your browser's user-agent string, so one network cannot fill the list. There are no analytics, no trackers, and no cookies.
